José Ivars from Calpe has been elected new member of the Royal Hispanic Academy of Philately and Postal History, a recognition to the long trajectory and spreading in the world of philately made by this passionate of the world of stamps and that at the moment presides the Philatelic and Numismatic Group of Calp as well as the Federation of Philatelic Associations of the Valencian Community (FASFILCOVA).
A total of 9 companies and tourist services of Calpe have received this morning from the hands of the regional secretary of Tourism, Francesc Colomer, the SICTED distinctive, which certifies their commitment to the quality of the destination. To obtain this recognition, they have had to meet a series of requirements such as participating in training modules, individual and collective technical assistance, improvement groups and evaluations.
The Local Police of Calpe has published a report that collects the statistics of interventions carried out within their respective competences throughout 2022. According to this document, the police officers carried out a total of 20,538 actions distributed in public safety, road safety, complaints, municipal vehicle impoundment and Administrative Police.

Calpe currently has 42 active cases of gender violence, according to what has been announced at the table of collaboration and coordination of gender violence, held yesterday at the Calpe Town Hall.
This month, the Department of Education is launching a series of free educational lectures aimed at parents. The series opens with the talk "Keys to understanding an adolescent" by the renowned medical psychotherapist Antonio Ríos.
The plenary session of the Calp City Council has agreed to initiate a new modification of the PGOU to define the green infrastructure of its municipal area. In this way, it is intended to study and define which undeveloped land in Calp can be converted into green areas with the ultimate objective of preserving these spaces in the municipality.
