The Calpe Business Association, AEMCO, held a general meeting a few days ago in which the new president of the entity, Santi Ferrer, was appointed, taking over from José Malagón after eight years in office.

On the 17th and 18th of May, Calpe will host the XXV Aplec de la Federació Valenciana de Dolçainers/res i Tabaleters/res (FVDIT), an event that will bring together around 1000 dolçainers and tabaleters from all over the Valencian Community with the aim of promoting Valencian music and culture.

Aguas de Calpe has begun work on the renovation of the drinking water pipeline that connects, in Almendros street, the DN-150 networks of Avda. Ejércitos Españoles (Calpesa reservoir) and Avda. Puerto de Santa María (Corralets reservoir). The cost of the work amounts to 44,532 € and the works will last one month.
