Starting tomorrow, July 3rd, the two tourist information offices in Calp will open, as is customary every summer: one on Arenal-Bol beach (in Plaza Colón) and the other on La Fossa beach (on the promenade, near Plaza Mediterráneo). This is to enhance the tourist services offered by the tourist offices in Plaza del Mosquit and the salt flats during the summer season.
From these offices, a large part of last year's attention was focused on tourists in Calp. From July to September, 13,317 visits were made to the Arenal-Bol Tourist Office and 7,263 to the La Fossa Tourist Office, while 3,897 visits were made to the salt flats and 1,151 to the Tourist Office in Plaza del Mosquit.
This year all the offices with security measures against COVID-19 are open. Screens have been installed at the Arenal information point, and at the Fossa information point, since it is a small office, the same measures have been taken as in the tourist offices: Vinyl on the floor to mark the safety distance, pedal-operated containers, screens at the counters and the abolition of the self-service area (leaflets available for each user). In addition, the capacity at the Fossa information point will be one person, while the tourist offices will have room for two people. In all cases, the use of the mask will be compulsory.
The opening hours of the tourist information points will be from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The opening hours of the Tourist Offices of the Salt Flats will be from Monday to Friday from 9am to 9pm and from 10am to 3pm on Saturdays; and that in Plaza del Mosquit, Monday to Friday from 10am to 1pm and from 6pm to 9pm and from 10am to 3pm on Saturdays.
