Calp City Council decided in the April plenary session to make changes to the noise conditions ordinance - which bans all types of work in August and sets hourly limits in July - to mitigate the impact that the state of alert and paralysis of activity had on the local construction industry.
In order not to overburden this industry with the restrictions imposed by the Noise Ordinance, this year, by way of exception, construction and engineering work can be carried out during the summer season, as this was not possible at any other time of the year.
This work can be carried out on working days S from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. without interruption in the period between 1 July and 15 September and is prohibited in the remaining slots.
However, sound measurements are carried out by the City Council in order to avoid excessive noise or failure to comply with time slots.
