The Mayoress of Calpe, Ana Sala, has signed today the decree with the distribution of delegations of the new Calpe's government team formed by Somos Calpe, PSPV-PSOE and Compromís.
Ana Sala maintains the Mayor's Office, as well as the Department of Communication and the newly created "Office of Housing and Squatting", undoubtedly the great novelty of this legislature that obeys according to the mayoress to "the real concern of this government to solve the problems of long-term residence, we have already started working on the bases of rental aid, this is a priority objective although we require the help of other administrations". Sala is also in charge of Transparency.
The government is structured into eight areas:
1. Finance, Communication, Housing and Squatting Office, Good Governance and Transparency Area, which is assumed by the mayoress.
2. Urban Planning, Infrastructures, Urban Image-Quality, Parks and Gardens, Integrated Water Cycle, Urban Solid Waste and Street Cleaning Area, which is assumed by the first deputy mayor Juan Manuel del Pino.
3. Culture, Old Town, Public Safety, Civil Protection and Emergencies Area, which is assumed by the second deputy mayor, Guillermo Sendra.
4. Contracting Area, which is taken on by the third deputy mayor, Ximo Perles.
5. Human Resources, Economic Promotion, Creama, Casa Nova (training campus), Local Development, Commerce, OAC, OMIC and Markets Area, which is assumed by the fourth deputy mayor, Paqui Solivelles.
6. Education, Casa Nova (university campus), Fiestas, Ports and Fishing Area, which is assumed by the fifth deputy mayor, Mariola Mulet.
7. Associations, Youth, Children and Adolescents, Citizen Participation, Internal Regime, Elderly and Civic Centre, Area Delegates, Area which is assumed by the sixth Deputy Mayor, Rebeca Merchan.
8. Social Welfare, Equality and Health Protection Area, assumed by the seventh Deputy Mayor Itziar Doval.
In addition, Marco Bittner is appointed special delegate for Residents, IT, Subsidies, Tourism, Twinning and Eternal Rest Park, as well as special delegate for the Edusi Project and Next Generation Funds.
And Pedro Moll has been appointed special delegate for Climate Change, Environment, Beaches, Urbanisations, Public Health and Animal Welfare and Sports.
In addition, as announced by the mayoress, the spokespersons will be as follows: Juan Manuel del Pino will be the spokesperson for Somos Calpe, Guillermo Sendra for the socialist municipal group and Ximo Perles for Compromís, who will also be the spokesperson for the government.
The mayoress stressed that "I have great confidence in this government team, the powers are linked to the training and enthusiasm of each of the councillors of the government, and it is established that the Compromís councillors will assume delegations at the end of the year".
As for the frequency of the sessions, the creation of informative commissions and the list of councillors with exclusive or partial dedication and the list of temporary staff will be announced in the next few days.
