One year after the start of the lockdown due to the pandemic, the Ifac Photo Club and the City Council for Culture are exhibiting the photos taken during the lockdown as part of the daily photographic challenges proposed by both institutions.
In an unprecedented situation as it was during the Lockdown, the Ifac Photo Club, in collaboration with the City Council for Culture, promoted an initiative that proposed a theme each day so that people, amateur or not, could make their own interpretation of the proposed theme through photographic images from home. These photos were then shared on social networks. The idea was to use imagination and creativity to best deal with the lockdown.
The challenge continued daily for weeks and the result of this initiative was a varied collection of 273 photographs with very different themes and techniques, always taken from home. A selection of these images, 43 photographs in total, can now be admired throughout the month of March in the exhibition hall of the Ajuntament Vell under the title "40 Days 40 Photos".
