Valencia Basket has been proclaimed Junior champion of the Comunitat Valenciana in both male and female categories after winning the Autonomic Final Phases that have been held this weekend in Agost and Calpe, FBCV 2022-2023 venues. In men's, Seguros Meridiano FLBA is runner-up, TAU Castelló is third and CD Don Bosco VLC is fourth. And in women's, runner-up CB Terralfàs, third place for NB Paterna and fourth place for Valencia Basket Academy.
The three best teams in the Phase, both male and female, also qualify for the Spanish Club Championship.
The trophy for Best Player of the Final Phase this season went to Lucía Navarro (Valencia Basket) in the women's category and to Youssouf Traore (Seguros Meridiano FLBA) in the men's category.
The Junior Men's Regional title was won by Valencia Basket after winning their three games, the last and most difficult one against Seguros Meridiano FLBA.
In Junior Women's Regional, Valencia BC has won its third and final victory of the Final Phase to be crowned champion (49-36). This time, their rival has been Valencia Basket Academy, the one that has shown more resistance against Héctor Rosa's team in all the games.
Calpe along with Agost and Peñíscola are the venues of the FBCV Final Phases 2022-2023. Specifically, Calp hosts the Autonomous Men's Final Phases. After the celebration of the junior category competitions this past weekend, the Cadet category Final Phases will be played next weekend - 28th to 30th April - and the Infantil category Final Phases will be played the weekend of 5th to 7th May.
