Calp and Pavapark are studying how to relieve citizens from paying the ORA parking fee from 18:00 after the coming into force last Thursday 21 January of the new restrictions against COVID-19, which mandate the closure of businesses from that time.
The city's mayor, Ana Sala, believes that with the cessation of commercial activity, "it does not make sense to charge for this service because the mobility on the street decreases significantly. However, she added that it is not easy to find a way to implement this exemption because it is a valid contract with the company that cannot be changed as this would mean its termination".
