Calp Town Council has decided on the call for applications for aid to promote sport in the 2019-2020 season, which will allocate a total of 147,972.43 euros to the various sporting bodies in the municipality.
The bases establish two lines of subsidy: line 1 Subsidies and aid for participation in official sports competitions and the promotion of local grassroots sport and line 2 Aid plan for the organisation of sports events.
A total of 13 local clubs have applied for this aid. Within line 1 the subsidies have been distributed proportionally according to the number of cards and federated sportsmen and women, number of teams and categories, type of competitions and leagues in which each club participates, level of trainers, etc.
Thus, within the line of promotion of basic sport, this year U.D. Calpe will receive 46,846.21 euros, Club Baloncesto Ifach Calpe 31,202.69 euros, Club Deportivo Calpe Futsal 29,539.98 euros, Club Natación Calpe 8. 574.39, Club Gimnasia les Marines 4,328.45, Club Gimnasia Calpe 4,091.98, Club de Tenis Calpe 1,666.10, Club Ajedrez Calpe 1,843.92 and Club Ciclista Calpe 2,773.92
In addition, as part of the Aid Plan for the organisation of sporting events, the Calpe Royal Yacht Club will receive 2500 euros for the organisation of the Autonomous Region Championship Children's Regatta and 4000 euros for the organisation of the Swimming Travessia al Penyal, the C. A. I Run Calp will receive 973.44 euros for the organisation of the Volta a Peu, the Grup de Muntanya 5,000.00 euros for the Mitja Marató d'Oltà, the Club Ciclista Calpe will receive 987.35 euros for the Marcha BTT and 2,144 euros for the organisation of the Trofeo Cliclismo Villa de Calpe and the Sociedad Colombicultura will receive 1,500 euros.
This second line of subsidies is distributed in accordance with the participants in each sporting event and as indicated by the Valencian Law on Sport.
