The Casa de Cultura de Calp will open its doors next Tuesday to offer the library and study room service. The opening hours of the Casa de Cultura are from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 19.30. In order to comply with safety regulations, the City Council for Culture has prepared an action protocol this week.
A security screen will be installed at the reception and at the counter, and the staff of Casa de Cultura will wear individual protection screens and masks. In addition, disinfectant gel dispensers will be set up at the entrance to the Casa de Cultura and the library.
The Municipal Library is open only for the lending and return of books from 9.00 to 15.00 and from 16.30 to 19.30, and a protective screen has been installed for the public. Visitors will have individual access only. In addition, a 14-day quarantine period has been established for returned books, which will be stored in sacks in isolation until the end of this period.
The library facilities for the passage of users will be cleaned and disinfected at noon. The study and reading areas of the library will be closed to users.
The Casa de Cultura will also have two study rooms which will be open from 9.00 to 19.30 hours. The 30% capacity of these rooms will allow for the placement of 20 individual tables at 2 meter intervals. Depending on demand, the possibility of extending this service will be considered.
A supervisor will monitor compliance with health and safety regulations within the room and will be responsible for disinfecting the worktable each time the user changes. Cleaning staff will also be available throughout the opening day of the Casa de Cultura.
The Cultural Department will also open the museums of the municipality from Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. (closed on Sunday and Monday), under capacity control and with the necessary sanitary measures.
