Calpe Town Council has resolved a total of 650 incidents through the Línea Verde mobile application, launched in July 2022.
Thanks to the implementation of this service, residents have a direct channel of communication with the Town Hall to report on the damages located in the municipality.
The most reported incidents are those related to "Street Cleaning" (20%), followed by "Pavements and Roads" (18%), "Collection of Furniture and Fixtures" (12%), "Street Lighting" (9%), "Parks, Gardens and Green Areas" (9%), "Road Signs and Traffic Lights" (6%), "Beach Maintenance" (4%) and "Solar Lighting Urbanisations" (4%).
In order to use this new service, it is necessary to download the Línea Verde application free of charge from Google Play or the APP Store depending on the technology used in your Smartphone (Android/iOS). Once downloaded, the user selects the municipality where they want to report the incident.
To report an incident, simply click on the "New Incident" button. A drop-down menu with the different types of incidents appears on the screen. The user selects the one he/she wants to report. The application automatically detects the exact coordinates where the damage is located. The next step is to attach a photo of the incident and an observation about it. And then click on the send button. Once sent, City Council staff will receive notification of the damage reported. From this moment on, the procedures for resolving the detected incident are initiated. The citizen in turn receives notification on their mobile phone whenever there is a change in the status of the incident.
Through Línea Verde, the user can also submit any environmental query. Simply select the option "Make your enquiry". Within a maximum period of 24 hours you will receive a response from a team of experts in the field, completely free of charge.
Línea Verde also offers its services by telephone on 902 193 768 from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Through the Green Line service, users also receive information from the Town Hall itself, so that they can be informed in real time. They can also consult the main points of interest located in the municipality and information about it.
"We are very satisfied with the results obtained so far and the reception it has had, and in this sense, I have to thank the participation of the residents of Calp, as it shows their involvement and interest in their municipality," said the mayoress of Calpe, Ana Sala.
