Calpe has received two grants for social services from the Diputación Provincial. These are a grant of 24,876 € for the SAD and a second grant of 22,716 € for individual emergency situations.

The OAC - Oficina de Atención al Ciudadano- Citizens´ Office of the Calpe City Council is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The office was founded in June 2009 with five clerks and one manager as the first point of contact for the citizens.
Today, ten years later, 9 clerks and one manager are already working at the OAC. The office has just reached 97% in terms of citizen satisfaction. The office has extended opening hours, even on Saturdays, to facilitate citizens' contact with the city administration.

After overcoming a severe bone marrow disease, this little girl decided that she wanted to help other sick children on her birthday instead of receiving presents, so she asked her friends to donate money to the AECC - Junta Local de Calpe instead of gifts for her.
Yesterday the deadline to apply for a LVT (IBI) for pensioners and pensioners under 65 and long-term unemployed ended. A total of 126 persons applied for this subsidy. The city council has budgeted 100,000 Euros for this subsidy.
