This week, authorised by the Provincial Coastal Service and with the approval of the Town Hall, the regeneration work began on the beach of Puerto Blanco, using sand from the dredging of the mouth of Puerto Blanco.
To carry out these works, the Port Boutique Calp company, awarded the concession of the nautical area, has installed breakwater stones on the beach of Puerto Blanco in order to retain the sand that is very wet when it is deposited and thus prevent its dispersion.
The dredged sand has been analysed to check its suitability for placement on the beach and the work is being carried out outside the bathing season.
The Puerto Blanco beach is a natural beach of about 80 metres in length located next to Puerto Blanco, whose works began last September with an investment of 5 million euros.
The project includes urban development, building and port works. Marina PortBlanc, as it will be called, will house 200 moorings.
