The municipal brigades and the Old Town Council have drawn up a decorative lighting project for certain enclaves in the historic centre of Calpe.
This specific lighting is intended to highlight certain points or elements of the old town, which is in itself a major tourist attraction.
Specifically, the lighting inside the bell tower has been improved; lights have been installed inside the cross located on the façade of the church; and the lighting of the garden located in the La Peça tower has been reinforced in order to highlight the cannons there.
Guillermo Sendra, Councillor for the Old Town, said that "this type of work will soon be carried out in the Ajuntament Vell and the Casa de la Senyoreta Museum, always seeking to increase the charm and attractiveness of these buildings".
