From April 13 to 21, Calp will celebrate the eleventh edition of the Book Fair, organized by the Department of Culture with the collaboration of the Calp bookshops Nou Art, Luis Vazquez, J. Vazquez and Librería Vazquez Such.
The fair, which will be located at the end of calle Alemania, next to the promenade, will have a large tent that will welcome booksellers who want to publicise both the latest literary novelties and the great works of universal literature. The fair will also feature parallel activities such as workshops, theatre, story-telling and book presentations.
The fair will open its doors next Saturday, April 13 at 12:30 pm; in the afternoon the writer Ana Alvarez Guinea will present the book “Querido mundo” (“Dear World”). On Sunday 14, the storytelling session “Tales at the seashore” by Núria Ruiz Gómez and Estrella García, is scheduled for 17:00.
The afternoons of Tuesday, April 16, Wednesday the 17 and Thursday the 18 are to be taken up by the craft workshops of A mà creacions. On Friday, April 19, the company Maniero Ediciones will perform the family theatre play “Entre tus brazos.” And on Saturday the 20, the book “The Rainbow Fairy” will be presented by its author, Maribel Tirado Garrido.
Between 13 and 20 April, children will be able to enjoy inflatable games from 17:00 to 19:00.
