The current storm has left damage on the Levante beach: the showers for feet have been torn away and the accesses to the beach have been damaged.

Several trees on Calle Castellón and Avenida Jaume I were knocked down by the wind. At 2 a.m. yesterday morning, Calpe Civil Protection closed the access to the Barranco del Quisi and its access at the level of the treatment plant. The calles Rumania and Polonia have been closed to road traffic due to the accumulation of water on the road. The mayor, Ana Sala, has moved to the area of the Levante beach to check the damage, which will be repaired as soon as the heavy rain stops.

The temporary accommodation opened by the Calpe Red Cross in the rooms provided by the city on Avenida de Ifach, 9, will remain open today and tomorrow.
