The Chinese community in Calp has donated 15,000 protective masks and 9 large batches of hydro-alcoholic gel, disinfectant spray and gloves to be used in the health centre Casa del Mar, local police, Guardia Civil, Civil Protection, Colina Club, La Saleta and Domis VI nursing homes, and City Hall staff who care for the public.
The companies that delivered the material this morning are: EMC Multiprecio, Bazar Precio Unico, HiperCalp, Bazar Dragón, Beauty Home, Kangda, Bazar Shang Hai, Bazar Euro, Nihao Restaurants, Ciudad Imperial, Jimmy, Fu Man Lao, China Town, Pato Laqueado, Beni Asia, Suvahi, Sakura, Casa Asiatico, Oriental Garden and La Lonja, in collaboration with Asesoría Pastor Hernández and Comercial Calpe.
Representatives of these companies have stated: "We used to help China because we are Chinese, and now Spain because this is our home now". Mayor Ana Sala thanked the Chinese community for this initiative, and the lots have already been distributed to take advantage of it.
