The beaches of Calp begin to recover after the storm.

Currently, work is concentrating on shifting the sand that the sea deposits on the shore by heavy machinery into the inner areas of the beach. The aim is to accelerate the natural process of the wind, which drives the sand inland for months.

This work, which is being carried out on La Fossa and Arenal-Bol beaches, will continue over the next few days until the level of stabilised sand is reached.

In addition, the city has announced after a meeting with officials of the Valencian Tourism Agency that in March the foot showers, pavements and other elements of the beaches destroyed by the storm will be replaced.
