This morning a cycle of trainings courses of the city of Calpe in collaboration with Xarxa Salut of the Valencian Government was finished. The aim of the courses, which lasted one and a half months, was to promote health in the place.
More than 25 people from different departments, such as town planning, local police, social work, education, youth, social welfare, ... participate in these trainings with the aim of coordinating all services and serving the citizens.
The Tourism Department of the City of Calpe will take part in the World Travel Market in London, the most important tourism fair in the world, from 4 November, with the clear aim of maintaining the important British market in Calpe.
The British tourist is one of the most traditional of Calpe together with the German; in fact he is the most important international market; therefore the tourism department of the city aims - because of the nearby Brexit - to strengthen those measures to ensure that the British tourism does not diminish.
