Next Saturday, 1st February, the Auditorium of the Casa de Cultura in Calpe will host the show ‘Recordando a Nino’, a tribute to the legendary Valencian singer from Aielo de Malferit, Luis Manuel Ferri, known artistically as Nino Bravo, who died in 1973.
The concert features the voices of
three magnificent singers of recognised prestige: Ángel Bellido, Aurelio Cámara and Laia Benaches, accompanied by the CLAUdeFA Music Band of Calpe, conducted by Raúl Mínguez, together with the pianist David Almerich.
‘Recordando a Nino’ (Remembering Nino) takes us back to the 70s with songs that are part of the life of a generation and that have endured overtime: Cartas amarillas, Un beso y una flor, América, Noelia, Mi tierra or Esa será mi casa... and many more that the Valencian singer made unforgettable.
This is a show that has visited more than 200 cities throughout Spain and more than 250,000 spectators have already enjoyed this concert that reviews the career of the legendary singer.
The concert is organised by the Culture Council of Calpe and admission is free until full capacity is reached.
