Calp will have a day centre for dependent elderly and a centre for Alzheimer's patients. This was agreed this morning by the Mayor of Calp Ana Sala and the General Director of Infrastructures, Enric Juan Alcocer, in a meeting that was also attended by the Councillor for Social Affairs, Noelia Císcar. These facilities are part of the Valencian Social Services Infrastructure Plan "Convivint" to be implemented in the period 2021-2025.
Mayor Ana Sala pointed out that "these are very necessary infrastructures and we as a municipality are very happy with this decision. We are still waiting for the Ministry of Health of the Valencian Community to give an answer to our historic request to build a second health centre".
Compromís spokesperson Ximo Perles has described this plan by the Generalitat as "ambitious and necessary". "The plan is promoted by Monica Oltra and we are waiting for the Ministry of Health of the Valencian Community to do the same".
