Culture, art and music return to the streets of Calp. While "Art al carrer" was inaugurated at the beginning of July with various artistic activities in the streets of the old town of the municipality, it is now the turn of music.
Under the title "Art al balcó", a tour with micro-performances by the municipality's musical groups is held on the balconies of the historic centre throughout the month of August, organised by the Cultural Department.
In this way, the citizens, who walk through the streets of the historic centre every Wednesday and Friday in August, can enjoy the music that resounds from the balconies. They are requested to keep a safe distance and wear a mask.
Up to 9 groups will take part in the programme and will be represented for reasons of space. The programme will include performances by Xaranga la Xarlotà, Ensemble Ifach, Clau de Fa, Coral Ifac, Casa de Andalucia de Calpe, soprano Agatha Martínez Soria, Unión Musical Calp-Ifac, Solera Artística and Xirimiters del Carellot.
This is an innovative initiative that replaces the traditional summer concerts and allows people to continue enjoying music.
