Next Monday, July 27, begins deadline for traders in Calp affected by the crisis of COVID-19 to apply for direct aid, created by the city of Calp to mitigate the losses they have suffered because of the pandemic. This is the first line of assistance offered by Calp Town Council as part of the Resistance Plan to boost the economy of the community.
The aid will range from 1,000 to 600 euros and is aimed at both the self-employed and small businesses operating in the municipality of Calp.
Aid of 1,000 euros will be granted to self-employed people, micro or small businesses with more than 10 employees, and 800 euros for those with 10 or fewer employees who have had to close with the declaration of a state of alert. On the other hand, aid of 700 euros will be granted to self-employed persons or small businesses with more than 10 employees and 600 euros for those with up to 10 employees who are not affected by the closure ordered in the state of alarm and whose turnover has fallen by 50%.
Self-employed persons or small enterprises wishing to apply for this aid must have been registered without interruption in the relevant special scheme for self-employed persons or in the mutual society or in the general social security and tax system for at least the period from 31 December 2019 to 14 March 2020 and must also remain in business for at least six months from the day following the publication of the decision to grant the aid.
You must apply via the electronic register of the Calp Town Hall using the form available on the website (calp.es). The deadline for applications is 17 August.
Furthermore, this aid is compatible with other aid offered for the same purpose by other administrations or public or private bodies, whether the State, the European Union or international bodies other than the Generalitat Valenciana (Government of the Region of Valencia).
In addition to this line of assistance, also within the framework of the Plan Resiste, there is a subsidy for waste collection fees and subsidies for companies run by women and for companies with less than three years of antiquity, which can be applied for in the near future.
