This year Calpe Town Council will implement a leasing contract to renew the municipal fleet of vehicles for the Local Police and General Services. The four-year contract amounts to 749.232€.
This week the Town Hall took delivery of a truck with a lifting platform for the General Services electricians, an all-terrain pick-up for the Environment and Beaches and a Ford Kuga hybrid vehicle for the Local Police.
In addition, in the coming weeks, a cab-chassis lorry, two mixed vans and two three-seater vans for General Services will be added to the municipal fleet. And the investment will be completed in the coming months with the delivery of two electric motorbikes, two SUV vehicles with bulkhead and a van for the Local Police.
The government team has pointed out that "the aim is to renew and modernise the municipal fleet in order to provide the best possible service. The improvement and modernisation of equipment and facilities guarantees our citizens quality services".
