Users of the weekly food market will find a new facility tomorrow, a module with three toilets, one of them accessible, which has been installed at the entrance to the car park where the market is held to improve this service.
The action, with a total cost of 44,468.14€, has a grant from the Conselleria d'Economia Sostenible, Sectors Productius, Comerç i Treball within the aid program for Trade, Consumer Service and Crafts in the line of adaptation of infrastructure necessary for the exercise of non-sedentary sales, through the introduction of equipment that directly affects commercial activity.
It is therefore an action carried out by the Commerce Council to try to provide an infrastructure that complements the non-sedentary sales market and offers an improved service to traders and consumers. The services will be open to the public during market hours on Saturdays.
The councillor for Commerce, Paqui Solivelles, pointed out that "thanks to the Generalitat we are opening complete toilets, with disabled access, a men's toilet and a women's toilet, and we hope this will promote the weekly market and improve the service to the citizens who visit the market".
