The Provincial Official Gazette has published today the call for applications for the transport subsidies for students who study outside Calpe for the academic year 2022 - 2023. In this way, tomorrow 25th October is the deadline for those interested to apply for them.
These grants are intended to defray part of the cost of transport for students who study first and second year Baccalaureate (all modalities), middle and higher vocational training, professional artistic education, higher artistic education, university studies, masters, and doctoral degree and university distance learning, UNED and ON-LINE (all modalities), in official public schools, private schools and private schools.
This year, 146,000 euros have been allocated for these grants. The amount received by the beneficiary will be increased by 10 percent for being a member of a large or single-parent family, for having a disability or with members of the cohabitation unit with a disability with a degree equal to or greater than 33 percent, for being victims of gender violence, for having an unemployed parent when the student is not emancipated. This percentage will increase to 20 percent when both parents are unemployed.
To apply for the grants, the interested parties must be registered in Calpe for at least one year, be enrolled in a public or subsidised private education centre, the head of the family or the applicant, if emancipated, must be up to date with tax obligations and have passed 50 per cent of the subjects enrolled.
Together with the application for aid, they must provide a photocopy of the applicant's DNI or NIE, proof of enrolment from the centre where they have studied, as well as documentation that accredits, if applicable, belonging to a large or single-parent family, the disability of a member of the cohabitation unit of more than 33%, the condition of gender violence (court sentence, protection order, report from the Social Services, etc.), or the certificate of employment life (certificate of employment, certificate of employment, etc.), or a copy of the applicant's employment record. ), or the certificate of employment of the student's father and/or mother, as well as a duly stamped document accrediting the student's current job search at the time the application is submitted.
The aid provided for in these rules is incompatible with any other aid that may be obtained for the same purpose from other public administrations or public or private entities.
The application may be completed at the electronic headquarters of the Calpe Town Hall (https://calpe.sedelectronica.es) or directly at the Citizen's Advice Bureau. The deadline for submitting applications is 31 October.
