The Hall of Fine Arts of the Cultural Centre of Calp hosts the exhibition "Sentimientos" (Feelings), by Cristina Francés Seva, which can be visited until the 30th June in the Hall of Fine Arts of the Cultural Centre of Calp.

In the exhibition we can find landscapes of our most beautiful places: Sierra de Bernia, Guadalest, a corner in the Pyrenees ... We can also see pastel portraits, like the portrait of her granddaughter Emma, 2 years old.

Cristina Francés explains: "whenever I paint, it is as if I entered a state of meditation, in which time does not exist and I am only focused on what I am painting at that moment, in the here and now, there is nothing outside".

This Alcoy artist admits that her interest in painting comes from her father, who was a great enthusiast for popular painting and ceramics.

For her part, Cristina Francés began self-taught in 1989, and later learned with great masters. Her first individual exhibition was at the Casino de Alicante, on the Esplanade, in 1994. From then until now, she has not stopped painting. She has participated in 17 individual exhibitions and more than 100 collective events in several Spanish cities and also abroad, as in the French cities of Béziers and Auterive and in Leipzig, Germany.

With "Sentimientos", Cristina Francés exhibits again in the Cultural Centre of Calp, where she had previously undertaken other exhibitions, both individually and collectively.
