The Ifac High School of Calp will host at the end of April a fair of work and academic orientation, organized by the Town Council and aimed at all students but mainly the groups of 4th of ESO and those of Basic FP. The fair tries to offer young people information on the education system, possible training-professional alternatives and resource search tools.
The activity, promoted by the Departments of Education and Youth, aims to support young people in the process of choosing their educational and work itinerary and to support the guidance task of the schools. This is the first time that Calp hosts a similar initiative that has been very well received by the school board.
To that end the fair will have areas of information with different educational and professional options, consultants offering personalized advice, playful-formative activities with tests that are related to work and academics circles. Students can develop self-knowledge skills, become familiar with the world of work and make decisions about their training and professional future in a responsible manner
The fair will involve private entities and professional groups, such as fire-fighters or police, who can offer information to students interested in certain professional sectors.
