The Town Council of Calp has created parking places for bicycles. At the moment, it fit out eight places in front of the Town Hall door on the Ifac Avenue and it plans to create more places of this type in different points of the town throughout 2018.

This initiative is part of the municipality's commitment to sustainable urban mobility and has led the Town Council to recently acquire five electric vehicles and three electric bicycles as well as the installation of four recharging points.

With the places created in front of the Town Hall, the Council intends to facilitate access to these facilities for citizens performing formal steps, as they can park at the door; as well as to encourage the use of sustainable means such as the bicycles. In addition, the Town Hall is studying the possibility of granting aids for the purchase of electric bicycles.
