The government of Calpe will take to the December plenary session the proposal to formalize the application for the declaration of the “Moros y Cristianos” as a Festivity of National Tourist Interest.
The Provincial Official Gazette has published today the call for applications for the transport subsidies for students who study outside Calpe for the academic year 2022 - 2023. In this way, tomorrow 25th October is the deadline for those interested to apply for them.
Aguas de Calpe is launching an information campaign to explain to residents that the November water bill will include the regional sanitation tax, a tax that the previous Council suspended between August 2022 and July 2023 to combat inflation and which the Town Council is now obliged to collect, as this regional tax was not suspended but postponed.
Friday, 20th:
On Friday, Calpe will begin the programme of events to celebrate the Moors and Christians festivities in honour of the Cristo del Sudor, Patron Saint of the town, organised by the Moors and Christians Association in collaboration with the Town Hall.
The Town Hall will provisionally adapt the site of the future Gargasindi Special Education School as a public car park in order to alleviate the lack of parking in the school area.
