The plenary session of Calpe Town Council has approved with the votes in favour of the government team (Somos Calpe, PSOE and Compromís) and the abstention of the opposition (PP and Defendamos Calpe) the urban-forestal cartography of the municipality, a requirement demanded by a legislative decree of the Generalitat to prevent forest fires.
Calpe Town Council has requested a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Mobility in order to demand the construction of a legal access to Maryvilla.
Calpe Town Council aspires to become an attractive tourist destination for LGTBI people.
Friday, 26th:
Calpe Town Council plans to start the museumization of the Banys de la Reina archaeological site soon.
The Calpe Local Police will soon have a Drone Unit with which they intend to carry out surveillance and control of beaches, and residential and wooded areas. The project is already budgeted and is in the tendering process.
From yesterday until Sunday, Calpe will be present for the first time at Matka Nordic Travel Fair, the most important tourism fair in Helsinki and the most important in the Scandinavian market. Calpe is taking part in the fair at the Tourespaña stand.
